Actual Individual Consumption per Capita (PPP)
2 years, 2017–2021 · 173 countries
Actual individual consumption per person is what people actually get to consume — what households buy plus the individual services governments and charities provide to them, such as schooling and health care — valued at purchasing power parities. The International Comparison Program treats it as a better measure of material living standards than GDP per person, which also counts investment, defence and profits that leave the country.
This site holds every year from 2017 to 2021, read from World Bank Group’s own data and stored exactly as published.

The headline is stored to 12 decimals, as published.
Rounded by this site
Never. Tables on screen may show fewer decimals; the files never do.
Changed by this site
Reshaped into one row per country: regional and income-group totals are left out, only the columns listed are kept, each row gets its ISO 3166 code, and some country names are brought to one spelling. No value is recalculated, rescaled or rounded.
Read from the World Bank’s API for the 2021 cycle of the International Comparison Program, which also revised the 2017 benchmark. Regional and income-group aggregates are left out; results for European and OECD countries come from the Eurostat-OECD PPP Programme and are linked in by the ICP.
