What this site changes

Reshaped into one row per country: regional and income-group totals are left out, only the columns listed are kept, each row gets its ISO 3166 code, and some country names are brought to one spelling. No value is recalculated, rescaled or rounded.

A report is often named for a later year than its figures describe. Every page prints both years.

Datasets: questions and answers

Can I download the data?

Yes. Every edition of every dataset is a CSV file, one click from its page, and each dataset has one CSV holding all its editions. Values are exactly as the publisher released them.

Is it free to reuse, including commercially?

Every one of the 216 datasets is published under terms that allow commercial reuse — nothing else is published here. All of them ask you to credit the publisher, and 36 also ask that anything you publish from them carries the same licence. Each dataset page links its licence.

Why is the 2026 edition of some datasets about 2025?

Many reports are named for the year they are released and built from figures for the year before. Every dataset and edition page prints both years.

Why is a country missing from a dataset?

Each publisher decides which countries it measures. Every dataset page lists the places this site covers that the dataset does not, and the coverage map above shows how thin the data is for small territories.

Are the numbers rounded?

No. Values are stored exactly as published. The tables on screen may show fewer decimals so they can be read; the downloads never do.

How often is the library updated?

When a publisher releases a new edition. Every import is dated on the Updates page; the newest was read on September 26, 2026.
