This is the share of a country's farmland under organic agriculture. It is the counterweight to the fertiliser and pesticide measures on this site: together they describe how intensively a country farms, from both ends.
What the number is: Organic share of agricultural land (%).
What it does not measure
It counts certified and converting organic land, not how sustainably the rest of a country's farmland is managed.
